40 days of fasting – try 40 days of rain!!! Often those guys have biblical names – lets hope they have a Noah in the squad on this tour.
People may say that we should do the same with the Black Caps – Don’t try this as I already to it. Although I believe in the power of prayer, for some reason my prayers for our cricket team go unanswered. They seem to hit a glad wrap ceiling. I am wondering, perhaps God has an Australian heart!!
I think you might be more onto it… they need some sort of biblical take on the concept of showers of blessings… biblical in size, scope, and length.
Could always invoke taking of the Australian firstborn… they would then have to use their 2nd eleven… On second thoughts, maybe a combination of the two!
