For all those who have been thinking, praying, and reflecting on the Matt Chandler situation, over the past few days there has been a couple of things that will keep you up-to-date, somewhat.

The last update from the Elders was on Sunday (US Time), with the following words from the Facebook page…

Matt was moved out of ICU on Sunday and continues to get plenty of rest as part of his recovery, per doctor’s orders. Please continue to pray for patience during this recovery time and to honor family-only visitation until further notice.

Pathology results of the tumor are due sometime mid-week, and we will keep you notified whenever possible.

If you attended a worship service at The Village this weekend, you saw a brief video with Matt that was taped prior to his surgery. Many were encouraged by it, and you can view it by going to the pastors’ blog on our church Web site.

As noted, Matt left a video message a few days before surgery, which will give you an insight into the man, this moment, and his mission…

I really encourage you to spend the short time needed to view this… especially if you are not familiar with the man… and to help you in this undertaking… you can find it HERE!

It would seem the next big news is waiting on the results of the pathology report on the exact nature of the growth in Matt’s skull.  Given the possible ramifications as a result of this finding, we will let you know, as soon as we come across it.
