“Blogging” was the word you were looking for… Yes, I was channeling you!  I have become a expert surfer in the pursuit, and like every self-respecting sports watcher, I can smell a remote control at a moments notice.  If you don’t believe, ask my wife, she has seen me in action when there are multiple sporting events are on, and it is a sight to behold… so I am told… when I talk to myself, that is… which is quite often!

If you are wondering right now what you are doing, and whether it is worth reading on, “what can I say,” but, “read on!”  Ah, the joys of reading I am Jonny King, the blog where the man really takes his hair piece off and… Yes, my locks are my own… for now!  Okay, so I am typing hyper… bole style, but it makes for interesting reading (Some would say “pointless” but this is my blog, so you don’t have a voice.  Although you are welcome to try in the comments section)!

I promise this will not be as long as my previous post!  Previous Post?  Yeah, didn’t think you had read it!  It’s just fortunate that love does not keep a record of wrongs, otherwise we could be in trouble, you and me.  That post could quite possibly be the most straight forward piece I have ever posted on iamjonnyking… No I didn’t claim it was the shortest!  Maybe a rainy day will encourage you forthwith!

Here is where I begin to point, and make one or two, reasonably coherent ones at that…

You see, the reason for header is that over the recent wee while I have been contemplating about whether to start two more blogs that have a particular and narrow focus on a different subject matter for each, and after the said reflection, I have decided that such is the right move, at the right time, and so I can now officially inform you all that the I am Jonny king blogging empire is now at four!

Therefore, in the blog stable now is…

Let me explain a little about the latest two news blogs, because the readers who care, will know about blogs one and two…

ReadeemingtheTime will deal with subject matter related to the idea of reading as a God-honouring use of one’s time… hence the blog-name!  Therefore, we will look at areas that intersect with this reality… books on steroids!  Check out the blog, where you can find out more information… Go on, don’t be shy!

MemoirsofanOrdinaryParent will look at the subject of parenting… Is that it?  Yes!

The reason I have decided to pick on these other two unsuspecting blogs can be summarised three-fold. (1)  Originally, the first blog that my fixer railroaded me into blogging was readeemingthetime,blogspot.com, as this is what I had spoken about as hypothetically being the name should I blog.  However, he decided that he should set this up and emailed me to get off my hiney, and start blogging… Bet he regrets that now, with all my bleating about the blogs!  The reason I did not start with this as my blog was due to this being very new to me, so I wanted to start with something more general, which was an iamjonnyking blogspot set-up, which you can’t really get to now, as it has an automated redirection on it… Someone will at least be curious enough to try!  (2) Parenting is something that I have been thinking about and do read about, and reflection upon, which is encouraged as we have a 16 year old.  Such a context has challenged me to think about navigating through this phase of life, and as I have some thoughts, it seemed appropriate to have a site dedicated to it.  (3)  Readers may prefer to visit the other sites that have focused material on those two subjects, and not have to wade through all the other dribble!

However, this growing reality has provoked some thinking on my behalf, and I would like some feedback from my 3 regular readers!  Therefore, unload on what you think my blogging philosophy should be.  I cannot guarantee that I will follow your thinking, but I will appreciate your input, and take note of your wisdom (I am assuming something here… don’t let me down).

Now that I have set the scene, it’s time to push play, as there are two blogging options that I am thinking through… if you have another, feel free… otherwise let me know what you believe is the correct blogging route that I should take!

Blogging Route Number One – Put different material on all four sites that relates to the context of the given blog, and I will loyally visit each and every blog, reading all the blood, sweat and tears that you put into each piece.

Blogging Route Number Two – Put the material on each of the three new blogs that you would, which fits that context… however, put all the material from these blogs onto this one, so that everything you post can be found in one repository, as this will make it easier to follow… and it can’t hurt to spread the word even more!

Blogging Route Number Three – Your hair-brain idea… The floor is yours, and please feel free, cause you ain’t gonna get paid for your advice, however, I really do and will appreciate it!  Maybe you could be the Duckworth-Lewis of blogging, and come out with a radical formula for how to integrate the material on these four blogs!

Please let me know, with the reason why, and I will get back to you about my decision sooner than  later!
